Testimonial widget for every page that needs proof
A testimonial widget is the part of your website where customer words do the selling. TestimonialManager builds it from your own library: text testimonials and videos your customers sent through your request page, with their consent on file, plus Google reviews you imported. You pick what goes on which page, choose a layout, and the widget keeps itself up to date as new approved testimonials arrive.
What a testimonial widget shows
Every item in your library can appear in a widget, and each one keeps its source and its context.
- Text testimonials collected through your request page, with the customer's name, role and photo shown only as far as their consent allows
- Video testimonials recorded in the browser, with a transcript underneath for people who watch without sound
- Imported Google reviews, labeled with their Google source
- Star ratings where the customer gave one
- AI highlights: the strongest sentence of a long answer, shown on the card, with the full testimonial one click away
AI highlights pick fragments and transcribe video. They never change what the customer said: any edit is shown to you, and the original is kept unchanged unless you approve the change. The ai testimonial highlights page explains how that works.
Six review widget layouts
Different pages need different amounts of proof. The layouts below all draw from the same library, so you set them up once and place them where they fit.
| Layout | Where it works best |
|---|---|
| Carousel | homepage hero area, mobile pages, narrow columns |
| Grid | service pages, product pages, use case pages |
| Single quote | next to a pricing table or a signup button |
| Rating badge | header, footer, checkout and booking forms |
| Video reel | sales pages, course pages, case pages |
| Testimonial wall | a full page with everything approved |
The wall has its own page, described under testimonial wall.
The right testimonial on the right page
A widget that shows the same five quotes everywhere wastes your best material. Each widget in TestimonialManager has a filter: by tag, product, service, location, source, star rating or format. Your pricing page can show quotes that mention value, your integration page can show quotes that mention setup, and each location page can show reviews for that location only.
- Tag testimonials by product, service or location as they come in
- Pin one testimonial to the first position on a page
- Exclude any item from a widget without removing it from the library
- Hide an item everywhere with one switch if a customer asks
A review widget for website designs of any kind
Widgets inherit your site's fonts and colors. In the editor you set the accent color, card background, corner radius, spacing and whether photos and star ratings appear. The preview shows the widget on light and dark backgrounds, at desktop and phone width, before you publish.
On Starter and Growth, widgets carry a small TestimonialManager mark. From Scale up the mark is removed and request pages and widgets can run fully white labeled, so an agency can deliver them under each client's own brand, as described for testimonials for agencies.
Embed with one line of code or the WordPress plugin
When the widget looks right, copy one line of code and paste it into the page. It works in site builders that accept HTML, in page templates and in custom code. On WordPress, install the plugin and add the widget as a block or shortcode, covered on the wordpress testimonial plugin page.
The widget loads after the rest of your page, renders testimonials as readable text, and updates when you approve new items. You do not need to touch the code again when the content changes.
Every quote in the widget has consent behind it
When a customer submits a testimonial, they choose what you may publish: the text, their name, their photo, their company. That choice is stored with a timestamp. The widget respects it automatically, so a customer who allowed only first name and initial is shown that way on every page. If a customer later uses their withdraw link, the testimonial leaves every widget. Details are on the testimonial consent form page.
Widget limits per plan
Widgets and walls count toward your plan: Starter includes 3, Growth 15, and Scale and Enterprise include unlimited embeds. Deleting a widget does not change the count of testimonials you have used in the billing period. Yearly billing is the default at 24, 74, 249 and 749 USD per month, monthly billing is 49, 149, 499 and 1,499 USD. Compare everything on testimonial software pricing.
FAQ
What is the difference between a testimonial widget and a review widget?
In TestimonialManager they are the same widget. It can show testimonials you collected directly from customers, imported Google reviews, or both, each labeled with its source.
Can I put video testimonials in the widget?
Yes. The video reel layout shows videos with transcripts, and grid and carousel layouts can mix video and text cards.
Does the widget slow down my page?
The widget loads after your page content, so the rest of the page appears first, and it renders testimonials as text rather than images.
How many widgets do I get?
Starter includes 3 widgets and walls, Growth includes 15, and Scale and Enterprise include unlimited embeds.
