Collecting testimonials
How does TestimonialManager ask my customers for a testimonial?
It sends an email or SMS with a link to your request page after a purchase, delivery, appointment or project close, plus one reminder if there is no answer. You can also share the link or a QR code. How testimonial collection works
Do my customers need an account or an app?
No. The request page opens in any browser on a phone or a computer. Customers write, rate or record a video and tick the consent box.
What starts a request automatically?
A paid order, a delivery, a completed booking or a closed deal in your store, payment platform, booking tool or CRM. CSV upload, webhook and API work too. Testimonial software integrations
Can customers send a video testimonial?
Yes. They record a short clip in the browser, and TestimonialManager stores it with a transcript. Video testimonial software
Can I change the questions on the request page?
Yes. Each brand starts with guided questions for its industry, and you can rewrite them, reorder them or add your own.
Consent and Google rules
How is consent recorded?
Every answer stores the consent wording the customer saw, what they allowed (quote, name, photo, video), where it may appear, the timestamp and the IP. You can export the full consent log. Testimonial consent form
Can a customer withdraw consent?
Yes. The confirmation email has a withdraw link. When it is used, the testimonial is removed from every widget and wall, and the log keeps a record of the withdrawal.
Do you filter out unhappy customers before they reach Google?
No. Every customer is offered the Google review link, whatever rating they give. Private feedback is an extra option for follow up, never a filter in front of Google.
Can I offer a discount for a review?
No. TestimonialManager does not support rewards for reviews, because Google and the FTC rule on reviews treat paid or incentivized reviews as a problem. Testimonial consent rules
Is it allowed to show Google reviews on my website?
Yes. Imported reviews keep their source label and their original text, so visitors can see where each one came from. Google reviews widget
The library and AI highlights
Where do all the testimonials go?
Into one library per account, with tags for brand, product, location, star rating and sentiment. Search and filters find any quote in seconds.
What do AI highlights do?
They suggest the strongest sentence of each testimonial and transcribe videos. You choose what to use. AI testimonial highlights
Does AI change what my customers wrote?
No. The original text is never changed without your approval. Every suggested edit is shown to your team, and the original stays in the library.
Can I import testimonials I already have?
Yes. Upload a CSV of existing testimonials, and connect Google reviews per location. Imported items are labeled with their source.
Widgets and the testimonial wall
Which widgets can I put on my site?
Carousel, grid, single quote, rating badge, video reel and a full testimonial wall page. Testimonial widget
How do I add a widget to my website?
Paste one line of code into any page, or use the WordPress plugin. The widget updates itself when you approve new quotes. WordPress testimonial plugin
Will the widget match my brand?
Yes. You set fonts, colors, corner radius and layout so the widget looks like the rest of your site. From Scale up the TestimonialManager mark is removed and request pages and widgets can run white labeled.
Plans and billing
Is there a plan without a subscription?
No. Every plan is a monthly or yearly subscription, from 24 USD per month billed yearly. The homepage demo is the only thing you can try without paying. Testimonial software pricing
What happens when I reach a plan limit?
Collection pauses for that resource until the next billing period or until you move to a larger plan. Deleting testimonials does not give quota back.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, from your account. Access runs to the end of the period you paid for. Payments are final, with the exceptions listed in the refund policy.
Can I pay by invoice?
Yes, on Enterprise with yearly billing. Every other plan is paid by card.
Data and security
Who owns the testimonials?
You do. Export your whole library, consent log included, anytime. We delete your data on request.
Who can approve what goes live?
Roles decide who can edit and who can publish, so nothing reaches your site without review. Enterprise adds SSO (SAML) and an audit log. Testimonial software security
Do you sign a data processing agreement?
Yes. A DPA is part of Scale and Enterprise.
