Review Request Software for Law Firms
Someone searching for a lawyer reads the stars and the last few reviews before they ever call. TestimonialManager sends each client a short email or text when a matter closes, offers the Google review link, and holds every testimonial for approval by a partner or your compliance contact before it appears anywhere. Your staff sends nothing by hand.
Satisfied clients rarely volunteer a review
A closed matter feels finished to the lawyer and to the client. The client moves on, and the firm with the better result but five reviews loses the call to the firm with two hundred. Asking in person is awkward, and attorneys are right to be careful about how they ask.
A calm, consistent request from the firm's name, sent at a time you choose after the matter closes, solves the asking problem without pressure. Each client gets the same message, answers when it suits them, and nothing is published until you approve it.
From a closed matter to a published review
- A matter is closed in your practice management or billing system. Any plan accepts a webhook or a CSV of closed matters. Growth and higher connect booking tools and CRMs. SMS starts on Growth
- The client gets an email, a text or both, with one reminder if there is no answer. You set the delay, so the request can wait a few weeks after a sensitive matter
- A short mobile page opens: star rating, a few sentences or a short video, and the Google review button
- Testimonials wait for approval. Nothing is shown on your site until someone on your team publishes it

Approval and consent come before publishing
Rules on client testimonials differ by state bar, and some require disclaimers or limit what a testimonial may say. Check the rules that apply to your firm. TestimonialManager supports the workflow those rules call for. Every testimonial is held for review, the client's permission is recorded in a testimonial consent form with a time stamp, and you can edit the display name or publish a first name and initial only. Nothing is shared without sign off, and no discounts or gifts are offered for reviews.
Every client gets the Google link
Google does not allow a business to show its review link only to clients likely to rate high, so every client who answers sees the Google review button. A private message box goes to the office as an extra, so a problem with a callback or a bill can be handled early. See google review management for how replies and monitoring work across offices.
Several offices and practice areas
Each office is its own location with its own Google Business Profile import, request page and results. Managing partners compare offices on requests sent, answered and approved, and an office manager approves testimonials for that office only. A family law page can show family law testimonials and a personal injury page can show its own. More on reputation management for small businesses and the google reviews widget.

FAQ
Can law firms use review request software?
Yes, as long as the requests and the published reviews follow the advertising rules of your state bar. TestimonialManager sends requests on a delay you choose, holds every testimonial for approval and records client consent, so a partner decides what appears on the site.
When should a law firm ask for a review?
After the matter closes, at a delay you set. A request a week or two after the closing letter reaches the client while the outcome is fresh, and a longer delay suits sensitive matters. Reminders stop after one follow up.
Can I send review requests by text message?
Yes, from the Growth plan. Growth includes 300 SMS requests a month, Scale 2,000 and Enterprise 10,000. Email is available on every plan.
Can I control which testimonials appear on my website?
Yes. Every testimonial waits for approval, you can edit the display name, and you choose which ones appear on which page or office.
