Vocal Video pricing at a glance
These prices come from the Vocal Video pricing page as we checked it in October 2026. There is no monthly billing option: every subscription is a 12 month term paid up front.
| Plan | Per month, billed yearly | Paid once a year | Video processing | Video requests | Editor seats included | Collectors |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 0 USD | 0 USD | 20 minutes a month | 50 a month | up to 5 editors | 1 campaign, 3 questions |

| Enterprise | from 1,250 USD | from 15,000 USD | custom | custom | custom | custom |
Older review sites still quote Vocal Video at 69 or 139 USD a month. Those figures are out of date, so budget from the current page.
What each Vocal Video plan actually limits
Free is a demo more than a plan for a business. You can publish 5 videos, output is 720p with a watermark, videos cannot be downloaded and a small Vocal Video logo shows in galleries and share pages.
Essential removes the watermark, adds 1080p output, unlimited downloads and publishing, SEO and visibility controls and integrations through a connector with more than 6,000 apps. It covers one brand.
Pro adds the features most marketing teams expect from a paid video tool: white label collection with your own call to action after a submission, background blur and removal, custom releases and waivers, extra themes and fonts, an API and analytics integration, and a kiosk mode for live events.
Scale adds a custom domain for collection pages, double the processing hours of Pro and the lowest rate for extra processing.
Enterprise adds several brands and workspaces with access controls, single sign on, brand lockdown, invoice and ACH payment and an account manager.
How video processing hours work
Processing time is the real meter on Vocal Video. Every minute a customer records and you keep for publishing uses processing time, and the yearly allowance on paid plans is 4, 6 or 12 hours. If customer answers average 90 seconds, 4 hours is roughly 160 kept videos a year on Essential, 6 hours about 240 on Pro and 12 hours about 480 on Scale. Extra hours can be bought, and Vocal Video changed its processing pricing on July 1, 2025, so accounts opened before that date may be on different terms.
For a team that collects a handful of polished stories a quarter, that is plenty. For a store or clinic that wants a short video from many customers every month, the hours run out long before the request quota does.
What you really pay a year, three common cases
- A consultant who wants 5 to 10 customer videos a year with no watermark. Essential at 1,188 USD a year is the minimum, since Free blocks downloads and keeps the watermark.
- A SaaS marketing team of three that wants white label collection and an API. That is Pro at 1,788 USD a year plus two extra editor seats, because Pro includes only one.
- An agency with several client brands. Pro and Scale include one brand, with more sold as add ons, and multiple brands with access controls are listed on Enterprise from 1,250 USD a month, or 15,000 USD a year.
Is Vocal Video worth the price?
Vocal Video is worth it when the video itself is the product you are buying: guided questions, branded themes, background effects, release forms and an editor that turns raw answers into finished clips for ads and sales pages. Teams that publish a small number of high production stories each year get good value from Pro.
It is harder to justify when you mainly want a steady flow of short customer videos and written testimonials after every sale. You pay for one seat, a yearly term and a fixed number of processing hours, and Vocal Video does not position itself around automatic text and SMS requests or Google review import.
That is the gap TestimonialManager fills. Requests go out automatically after an order is delivered, an appointment is checked out or a deal closes, by email on every plan and by SMS from Growth. Customers answer with text or a short video recorded in the browser, every answer carries a consent record, and you can pay monthly. Our video testimonial software page shows the recorder and the limits by plan.

| How video is metered | 4 to 12 processing hours a year | 20 to 3,000 video testimonials a month |
| Text testimonials | video first | 500 to 250,000 stored |
| Automatic requests after a sale | through integrations you set up | built in: store, payment, booking and CRM events |
| SMS requests | not listed on the pricing page | 300 to 10,000 a month from Growth |
| Seats on the mid plan | 1 included on Pro | 5 on Growth |
| Brands on the mid plan | 1 included on Pro | 3 on Growth |
| White label | from Pro | from Scale |
| Release forms or consent | custom releases and waivers from Pro | consent log on every plan |
| Video editing and effects | strong, with AI effects from Pro | trim by transcript and captions |
Vocal Video wins on finished video quality and editing. TestimonialManager wins on cost for steady volume, on monthly billing, on SMS and on collecting text and video in the same request. If you are weighing other tools too, the Testimonial.to alternative page compares per space pricing and the Senja alternative page covers the cheaper end of the market.
Hidden costs to check before you buy
- Extra editor seats. Every paid Vocal Video plan includes one editor, so a team of three pays for two more.
- Processing overage. Once the yearly hours are used, new videos need purchased processing time.
- A full year up front. There is no monthly plan, so a trial that does not work out still means a yearly commitment once you pay.
- Extra brands. Pro and Scale include one brand, and several workspaces with access controls sit on Enterprise.
- Release and consent records. The 2024 FTC rule on fake reviews and testimonials makes proof of consent worth keeping. Vocal Video offers custom releases from Pro. TestimonialManager stores consent with a timestamp on every plan, as shown on the testimonial consent form page.
Some teams also run customer research next to testimonials, such as churn interviews or product feedback answered on camera. For that job a dedicated video survey software tool is usually cheaper than stretching a testimonial plan's processing hours.
How to choose in five minutes
Count the videos you will actually keep in a year and multiply by their average length. If the total fits inside 6 hours and you want polished clips for ads, Vocal Video Pro is a fair buy. If you want a request after every customer, text and video answers together, SMS for local customers or monthly billing, compare the limits on testimonial software pricing and try the demo on the homepage.
